The Gilgamesh Epic
The Gilgamesh Epic is the oldest existing piece of written literature in the world. For a junior high school literature assignment, Eagle Academy students created a text based virtual reality interactive version of the epic at Diversity University, Inc. This project received Time/ATT&T's first annual award for the best use of telecommunications in education. Two years later, one of our students created a VRML version of the project at Diversity University which was featured at the 1997 annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science's symposium on Virtual Education Platforms.You may view this highly acclaimed project by visiting Diversity University and using the command @join homerjanitor.
